EPISODE Webinar: Social Digital Entrepreneurship into Classrooms and Incubators: the YEPISODE course
The EPISODE project, a 2-year initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, has officially launched with the goal of strengthening the resilience, digital readiness, and growth of social entrepreneurs, micro-businesses, MSMEs, and early-stage startups in Palestine. The project is focused on driving public prosperity by identifying the future skills required for social entrepreneurs in the digital age and aligning them with the unique context of Palestine.
EPISODE will train teachers, trainers, and mentors in innovative tools, online teaching techniques, cutting-edge technologies, and emerging trends in digital social entrepreneurship. They will collaborate to develop a blended course on Digital Social Entrepreneurship, which will be piloted with aspiring entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, and early-stage startups, empowering them to adopt digital transformation tools and models to grow their operations or launch social enterprises.
The EPISODE approach will be made available to the public and can be transferred to interested institutions and organizations seeking to enhance the quality and appeal of continuing vocational education. Furthermore, the project will provide an open online microlearning unit on Digital Social Entrepreneurship, accessible in English and Arabic to all interested organizations and learners.
The kick-off meeting was held on the 27th and 28th of February 2023 in Rome, where all the partners gathered to plan and start working on the project. The EPISODE project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union and is implemented by a consortium composed of the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), Birzeit University, Center for Continuing Education, An-Najah National University, BuildPalestine, and ALL DIGITAL
