Palestine is brimming with untapped potential, and many of its most pressing issues—from unemployment to environmental degradation—are waiting for bold thinkers to turn challenges into opportunities. YEPISODE is more than a program; it’s a call to action for the next generation of changemakers ready to create a better tomorrow for Palestine through social enterprise.

What is EPISODE?

EPISODE – is a 2-year Erasmus+ project that aims to enhance digital social entrepreneurship in Palestine by defining future skills, upskilling teachers and mentors, co-creating a blended course, piloting it with youth, and providing an online microlearning unit in English and Arabic. This project is implemented by Birzeit University, An-Najah University, BuildPalestine, UNIMED, and ALLDigital.

What is YEPISODE?

YEPISODE is a three months program designed to empower young innovators to turn their ideas to face social problems in Palestine into social enterprises using digital solutions. The “Y” in YEPISODE stands for:

  • Youth: Capturing the energy of our target group and the vibrant spirit we aim to infuse throughout this journey.
  • You: You are the episode. Every participant plays a crucial role in this journey as a future leader, innovator, and change-maker.
  • Your Future: This journey is also about building your future, offering guidance to shape your career path and move toward a brighter tomorrow.

What is a Social Enterprise?

A social enterprise is not just about profit; it’s about solving social, environmental, or community challenges while achieving financial sustainability. It’s a business model where social impact takes priority over personal gain. Through innovative solutions, social enterprises create a lasting change by tackling issues like poverty, unemployment, inequality, and more, while generating income to sustain their mission.
