Launch of YEPISODE: Enhancing Social and Digital Entrepreneurship in Palestine
In a step aimed at empowering Palestinian youth and equipping them to lead societal change, the Center for Continuing Education at Birzeit University, in collaboration with the Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED), An-Najah National University, BuildPalestine, ALL DIGITAL, and supported by the European Union (Erasmus+), has launched an ambitious program titled: YEPISODE – Enhancing Social and Digital Entrepreneurship in Palestine.
This program is an intensive three-month learning journey combining theoretical and practical training through 210 hours of specialized coursework. These eight comprehensive modules aim to prepare participants in diverse fields, including:
- Introduction to Digital and Social Entrepreneurship
- Ideation and Problem Validation
- Digital Solutions for Social Entrepreneurship, including AI tools and the Internet of Things (IoT)
- Business Modeling
- Marketing and Branding for Social Enterprises
- Data Analytics for Financial Planning and Reporting
- Fundraising Strategies
- Scaling Growth and Sustainable Development
YEPISODE is more than just a training program; it is an investment in the next generation of leaders and changemakers in Palestine. Through an integrated platform, the program empowers Palestinian youth to transform societal challenges into innovative entrepreneurial ventures that create lasting and positive impact. The program aims to equip participants with the skills to analyze challenges and design creative solutions that align with the needs of their communities.
The program targets ambitious young graduates, aspiring entrepreneurs with digital skills, and innovators with promising ideas for social projects. It includes a variety of activities such as mentorship sessions, field visits, expert consultations, and collaboration with Palestinian business incubators.
